FIND YOUR PERFECT MATCHA
I never thought I'd see the day where I'd consider tea over coffee. If you know me, you know I need to have my coffee every day. Why can't I have both? I've made a conscious decision to drink only one cup of coffee a day and then one tea in the evening. I got really crafty with my green tea and found several ways to spruce it up. You can make smoothies, ice it or drink it traditionally!
avocado + matcha smoothie
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Banana (preferably frozen)
- 1/3 Avocado
- 1/2 tsp Matcha Powder
- 1 cup of almond milk (soy or coconut is ok too)
- Ice
The avocado is really potent, so 1/3 of an avocado goes a long way! Mix it up and have yourself a delicious and nutritious smoothie!
TRADITIONAL GREEN TEA
INGREDIENTS
- Aiya Matcha
- Sifter
- Whisk
- Scooper
- Hot water (Under boiling point temp)
DIRECTIONS
- Take 1 tsp of Matcha Green Tea and add on to the Sifter
- Start sifting
- Add hot water
- Whisk - Whisk in ZIG ZAG motions!
- Enjoy!
ICED GREEN TEA LATTE
Grab a jar with ice, pour coconut milk, and then pour the green tea on top!
Ok, there are million things you can do with Matcha Green tea. While it's tough for me to make a 100% move to tea from coffee, I feel good cutting down on coffee.
And if you're interested in the Matcha Green Tea set, I bought it on Amazon. I was on a Matcha obsession and decided to buy a starter kit! LOL
